Fighting for a bolder, fairer California — where working families thrive, healthcare is a right, and no community is left behind.
Every dollar raised goes directly to knocking doors, reaching voters, and winning California's 26th for working people.

A progressive agenda built for every family, worker, and community in California's 26th district.
Building an economy that works for everyone — not just the wealthy few. I will fight for good-paying jobs, fair wages, and economic opportunity throughout CA-26.
Healthcare is a human right. I will work to expand access, lower prescription drug costs, and protect reproductive rights for all Californians.
California's 26th must lead the nation on climate action. I'll fight for clean air, clean water, and a just transition to renewable energy.
True public safety means rooting out the corrupting influences that undermine trust in our institutions and threaten the integrity of our democracy.
Our republic faces an unprecedented crisis. Donald Trump has demonstrated through his actions that he views the presidency not as a public trust, but as a vehicle for personal enrichment and unchecked power — and he must be held accountable.
A world-class education should be available to every child — and college shouldn't saddle students with a lifetime of debt.
The housing crisis is pushing working families out of our communities. I'll fight to build more homes, protect renters, and end homelessness.
Immigration is a source of strength for our district and our nation. I support humane, fair immigration reform that reflects our values.
Those who served this country deserve the very best care and support. I will be a tireless advocate for veterans in CA-26 and across America.
America must end its complicity in violence abroad and restore Congressional authority over matters of war and peace.
We cannot defeat authoritarianism with leaders who refuse to fight. Democratic leadership has completely failed its constituents — and it's time to say so plainly.
My name is Sasan Samadzadeh, and I've grown up right here in Ventura County. This community is home — from its neighborhoods to its open spaces — and it's where my values were shaped.
Outside of work, I'm happiest hiking our local trails, playing classic video games like Fallout: New Vegas, or watching Star Trek: The Next Generation. I believe stories about the future say a lot about what we owe each other in the present.
My family came to the United States as refugees fleeing the Iranian Revolution, seeking safety, opportunity, and freedom. Like many immigrant families, we arrived with little but were embraced by this country. I've been incredibly fortunate to grow up with a loving, supportive family — and yes, I'm proudly a momma's boy.
After college, I went straight into construction, first in construction management and later as a construction inspector. That work shaped how I see the world. As an inspector, your job is to make sure foundations are solid, corners aren't cut, and small cracks don't become catastrophic failures.
I see our government the same way.
Right now, the foundations of American democracy are under serious strain — from authoritarian politics, corruption, foreign influence, and a political culture that too often protects powerful interests instead of the public. When leaders undermine democratic norms and accountability, the damage may not be obvious at first — but if it goes unaddressed, the consequences can be structural and lasting.
I'm running for Congress because I believe in fixing problems before collapse, in transparency over secrecy, and in a government that works for ordinary people, not entrenched elites. Ventura County deserves representation that takes democracy seriously, shows up, and refuses to look away when the warning signs are clear.
Let's be honest: Democratic leadership is totally failing its voters. While Trump dismantles our institutions, Democratic leaders offer nothing but empty statements and symbolic gestures. They refuse to fight when it matters most — and the people they represent are paying the price.
I may not have electoral experience — but I have common sense and the wisdom to know that too much political experience and blind party loyalty to leadership is exactly what's eroding trust in today's political climate. Career politicians who fall in line with party bosses aren't the answer. They're part of the problem.
Ventura County and America can't afford another lockstep Democrat who takes marching orders from the same leadership that has failed us time and again. We need real change — a representative who answers to the people of this district, not to donors in Washington or party insiders who've lost touch with working families.
That's why I'm running. Not to climb a political ladder — but to fight for you.
Whether you want to volunteer, ask a question, share a concern about our district, or get involved in the campaign — we want to hear from you.
